It may cost you some money (the harley riders edge course she took cost me 300$) but she will learn to ride right if she currently doesn't ride. I picked up an old KZ400 for her first street bike, this is her riding to high school a while back.

That, right there, is pretty darn cool. I don't recall any chicks riding their motorbikes to my high school.

Don't be.

All above board.

Skinny was on her way to the annual charity toy run-hence the bear. As for the rest, her choice.

My 15 yr old loves it. It's exactly what she'd ride and exactly what she'd wear while doing so. If she could find Pointe shoe riding boots that would be icing on the cake.

Purple turtle i will need to re-appraise my thought processes regarding what choice of bike I should show my 14 year old, big outdoor muscle bike in Pink with dads wee girl riding it, i still cant quite grasp that picture though, its like getting punched by a very large man with very large hands wearing nail polish, this has possibilities,

What is interisting, is that she sold the bike to a man. Now, I do not know if he had it resprayed.

Made me do a flashback, same exact bike my mother had. Color, fairing and side cases. She put it down when on a trip to Canada, early 80's messed her knee up pretty good. Bikes got hauled home in a U-haul. Ended the trip for her and my father and the other couple riding with them.

My 6 year old asked to get on the bike for the 1st time. I was happy to help her on. She is not ready to ride (a bit afraid of it) and is still to short to reach the passenger pegs. Maybe next year.

I've enjoyed posting in the thread before, seeing as there is no Mothers & Daughters thread - super small group.

My first post is here

As a result of that trip, we were on the cover of AMA in October 2008.
Last year my daughter was applying to colleges, the trip was the basis of her college essay I encouraged her to submit it to AMA; it was printed in October '13 issue. For that follow up we went on a photo shoot, of course, I had to bring the same bike, and I completely cherish this two up picture of us.

Daughter to Grand Daughter

My daughter and youngest of three children, is now 23 and without doubt the best pillion I have ever had on my bike. Now waiting on Grand Daughters - and can't wait. (Shhhhh -did I say that?)

Wow,
that's a great story. I think you've accomplished just that what I'm after for.
I can only hope and dream of learning my 2 girls to feel the same about life and motorcycling.
