Took my youngest (14) on her first ride today. She's hooked, already asking when she can have her own

I took my daughter over to grandpa's hayfield for some practice today. I used to tear around here on an ATC 200X when I was was a few years older than she is now. She was thrilled to have an area larger than 50 x 100 feet to ride around.

To Arby's and back

Today was a beautiful day of low 80's and I just had to take the motorcycle out for a ride today. The wife had a church meeting tonight and there wasn't any leftovers in the fridge so the daughter and I decided to take the 80' CB750 with Wind Jammer fairing and bags out for a ride. She wanted to ride the GSXR, but I don't trust her on it on longer rides and this was our first ride of the year. We put our helmet mics to use.

This was us last Christmas when my wife thought I was crazy for spending so much money on them.

We took off and headed into town. There were a lot of bikes out on the road today. When we got into town, about 18 miles, she had any restaurant to choose from and she chose Arby's. That was fine, cheaper for me I guess. I was hoping to try out the new Chinese restaurant, but I guess I'll have to try it another time.

We had such a great time. We talked about all sorts of stuff. She kept telling me that she was really enjoying the ride. The past couple of weeks have been busy for us as we've been working on the house to sell it and make a move to Virginia. I know I haven't spent much quality time with her so it felt really good to just ride, talk, and relax. I made sure to take a longer way home.

I took my 9yr old daughter for her first ride today, about 20 minutes around the neighborhood - she loved it, and I am so happy that I had to share!

She wants me to take her to school on it, which is about to happen :)

I'd guess they are already nosing around and that's basically the look he gives them. I'd say there's a bit of intimidation there.
