Well if you look in the glass next to eggy in the close-up pic, it's the same stuff. But instead of being nicely contained on the table it was smeared randomly, generally in the middle of blind corners, on roads across the county. I regretted not taking the bike until I got to Route 22.

White stuff on Lake Wendell rd just past my driveway. The bike stayed in the barn. All ice on the back roads where the sun was blocked by trees.

See all that water in the parking lot? It was a sheet of ice when I got there at 12:40. Everything had melted up nicely by 3pm.

Nice lunch today and I'm glad I got to meet some new faces from the ADV community. We should do it again soon. Maybe next time I can two wheel my way to the dinner.

Good times all around - another great ADV dinner! Kudos to the Fearless Four that braved the icy conditions and rode in . Enjoyed seeing old friends and putting faces to user names...

Chad, I'm looking forward to checking out that Buell at another ADV meet soon - hopefully before the dogwoods bloom!

Ray, I don't think Thomas saw your post before he left. He was heading up through Goldston toward Greensboro/Burlington for the night, then into Virginia tomorrow. Sure hope you get some time off next time, we missed you & NC Okie but that didn't stop us from talkin' about ya!

I thought this was going tomorrow. Damn. Oh well. I have been dealing with the after effects of my son's wreck last weekend. A cager turned left in front of him and he ended up with a few busted bones and destroyed bike in the process.

Nice to meet you all. Glad I made it out.

Those pictures came out a lot better than my phone pictures.

Talking about me huh?? Well that kept you from talking about someone else.

Hate I missed it but work is what it is.

Ron really sorry to hear about your sons get off. Judging by how he rode last time I saw you guys he probably did some fancy riding to avoid it. I sent you a message to see if you were going to make it.

He tried, but the woman stopped dead in his lane and the gap he was shooting for did not materialize. He nailed the rear quarter panel of the car and hit the ground 99' later. I reckon that's when the collar bone broke on impact.

His buddy was riding staggered the to right and behind him. Tucked the front on the brakes and nailed the car also. Destroyed both bikes, but his buddy walked away at least....
