I pulled into town about 7pm. I got soaked getting to Coulterville, but no rain after that. Good ride.

Well besides the faceplant it was truely a great ride. Poor Tom froze his butt of but he got to the shop and we loaded him up. I got home at about 12:45 am and jumped straight into bed.

Congrats Steve. The DR 650 is a worthy bushwacker and that back brake works real well

When did you guys take off? We froze our *@#!! off big time. We knew when we saw snow removal equipment coming from the direction we were going it was going to be a little cool.

You did great by the way. Before we departed the shop for home we were talking about how quick you were on the off-road stuff. Very impressive!

Thanks dude! We stayed in a hotel next to the place we ate lunch yesterday and then headed for home at about 10am after an awesome breakfast! It was way too cold to ride home last night.

What route did all of you take home? I went Buck Meadows to Greeley Hill to Coulterville to La Grange to Snelling to Merced.

The boys and I split at J132 just before 49. They wanted to take fireroads back and I needed to get home quickly. I went on 49 through Bear Valley and then took Ben Hur after Mariposa, through Raymond, then Madera and 99 to Fresno. From Buck Meadows it was 120 miles.

We went from Hetch Hetchy to the 120 to 140 to Merced thenn 99 home. It was the quickest way to loose elevation.

What do you guys think about a dsrider caming trip? 2 days 1 night with support truck and trailer. Dates? Hollister?

I wouldn't mind a camping trip, but not interested in Hollister. We have tons of places to camp closer to home, and without the crowd. There is a camping area right where we stopped to put on raingear in front of the Jerseydale ranger station.
