Call me- 559-338-0846 559-304-3577. Dale Lineweaver is the HusaGuru from what I'm told. He may have a motor (or parts). When I had to tear into mine I was heading in that direction. Imagine... 10% more ponies, 7-10% more torque, Honda-like reliability (using that term loosely) all in a bike with what, 250# dry weight? And street legal. I've just never actually conversed w/ Dale and my motor's fine for now.

Or....
Find a XR650R motor at the m.c. salvage and bolting in a REAL chasis/WP susp/Brembo etc.

But really, we can get it going and it sounds like you have no choice.

Cheers
Tom

ps- can't help you with the rock for the wifey

Is that Biggfoot on a Harley with a sidecar? Seems an appropriate level of mechanical sophistication

I actually emailed him ... 4 months ago... He said he was elbow deep in a "special project" and was unable to assist me at the time... I think I was supposed to email him again, but I had forgotten. I will have to dig through my emails, thanks for the reminder.

Got the bike going Friday. 4-hr trail ride through the Sequoia's Saturday with my son on his XR250. Now I remember why I bought that thing .
I'll have to step up my pace to keep ahead of David on the 250 though . He may come to the next DSRider excursion.
