New thread?
Quote:
![]() Way to go, lsellers... now we have to wait another 3 months before we get a new thread. I very gently suggested a new thread in September and we've been in "Summer" ever since. I guess those boys really showed me.

Optopilot has cook kit for Saturday. Rain or shine. Need input for preference in sustanance. Wife has volunteered to make her famous southern white gravy and biscuits. Wife has put foot down regarding my riding in severe rain; however.

New Year's Resolution
Yesterday I went on a 60mi loop on the FZ1 in the Sequoia Nat'l Forest (Hwy180 - Hwy245 - Pinehurst/Miramonte/Dunlap Rd.) because I felt the need to escape the grind of domestic life and a strained marital relationship. It's amazing how the first 5mi of twisty stuff seemed to take all the negative vibe away and soon I found myself approaching a Zen-like state. As the sun was setting I found a patch of wildflowers, and being an opportunist, I picked enough to fill my tank bag.
I ripped the last few miles home and presented the flowers to my wife and watched the "perma-frown" melt away, replaced by a smile and a little sparkle in her eye. Today, even my suck-ass job was more palateable and all it took was 60mi before sunset! So my resolution- make the world a better place BY RIDING MORE! Isellers- finally got by to see the new BMW shop. Haardly recognized your bike! It's a frame and forks- that's it. Glad to hear it's warranty work. Being a shift shaft that could have gone either way and I'm impressed with the call BMW made. I'll be back there when they fill up the showroom with MVAugusta's and Husqvarna's. Cheers Y'all Tom |
