A Bird got in my Helmet

Last Wednesday I rode to Brazos Bend State Park to walk around and take photos. As you can see in the first photo I left my helmet hanging on the passenger peg. During the two hours I was walking around a bird started building a nest in my helmet!

I leave an old helmet in the carport for them to use. Pretty cool.

Now that spring is here the birds are very active. The park was loud with all of their chirping, cheeping, squawking and fartin'. And the alligators are starting to come out due to the warmer weather.

From now on I am going to put the helmet in a nylon helmet-bag before I put it on the peg. It won't make it dog pee proof, but it will be bird nest proof.
