Here's my 79 Guzzi at the Barber Vintage Festival this year. I did more of a roadster/cafe' hybrid.

Love the pipes. They have an incredible sound without being obnoxious. They're Lafranconi Competiziones.

They are mostly for show. They're Mellosi's. I have to admit, i do love the intake sound through them.

The paint is very special super secret version of Black Cherry that i have been sworn to take to my grave.

It's a stock PPG Chevrolet color. Don't tell anyone.

It's a real Guzzi/ Valeo started like those used on the newer bikes. I got it from MG Cycle. I waSnt sure of the quality of the ones on ebay, so I just bought an original.

The think works great. It spins much faster than the Bosch and is lighter. I'm using a Shorai (that I definitely wouldnt use again) so it makes some sense to use the Valeo with the smaller amp draw.

77 RD 400 project. I think everyone should own at least one two stroke (no, the weedeater doesn't count).

Except I'm thinking wire wheels - red rims and hubs; frame finished in 'aluminium'; engine unpainted except the barrels done in red; chrome chambers are a must.
