Actually, It isn't a Triumph, rather, a Yamaha XS650 . The pipes appear to be Omar's mile pipes, and the tank appears to be either from a Yamaha XS1100 or Kawasaki KZ1000/KZ1100.

The "beautiful" yamaha indicators give it away, if not the cast wheels. Those bloody indicators are stil gettin garound onthe 250 viragos........there must be a junk yard full of them somewhere, or runway blokes are using them to signal planes in.

I built this back in college while I worked as a BMW mechanic, a couple of wrecks melded into one damn fine machine. I walked away with narry a scratch. This picture is from better times at Streets of Willow, chasing down people with more horsepower, more tires and more brakes.
Great to see another Beemer on the track!
Here's a couple pics of my turd at JenningsGP

Been there few times....
I'm an over-the-road truck driver and only get home every 3-4 weeks, so time off is limited and track day and racing are on weekends. That limits my "bar hopping" greatly.

I would ride mine to the track. Closest that I'd ride was 120 miles each way. My favorite was 180-ish each way, so I'd add a few miles and take a scenic ride home.
