I was thinking about picking up a clean NX650 in the U.S., but since it was only imported for 2 years, and had 33,000 miles on it, I wanted to do a little research. I found out you can't hardly get anything for it parts wise, and nothing aftermarket.....as bad as my Yamaha Seca 650 Turbo that was also only a 2 year bike.
So I passed on the deal.
Cool bike, but if you can't get parts kinda hard to ride and enjoy it

Same engine as the XR650L. Bodywork and frame are different though.
The US only imported them for 2 years the rest of the world had them right up to the late 90's .
Plenty of parts internationally.

signal light relay?

When I slide the switch to the right, the right turn signal lights glow, then go dark, then glow once again and stay that way. Same scenario happens if i slide the switch to the left (left ones light up, do dark briefly, then light up and stay lit).

Relay needs to be replaced?

Before you replace it prise it open carefully and clean the contacts inside with electrical cleaner, I did this and mine worked much better afterwards.

Trail Tech Vapor

Has anyone installed a Trail Tech Vapor Computer on a Dominator or NX650? I am having problems with the original cluster and was thinking on installing one of this to replace the cluster on my 93 Dominator.

That worked like a charm! I figure you just saved me about $25. Looks like I owe you a couple of pints next time you are in my neck of the woods (or if I ever make it to the Emerald Isle).

On my xr650l I replaced the flasher with a 552 relay from the auto parts store. About 4 bucks then wrapped it in electrical tape.still working after 4 years.
