My last one was a rhino 120 . It worked ok . My brothers all got them so we could use them for hunting. They had poor satelight reception in heavy woods. Also, they had no turn by turn capability so using them to navigate on the road was tough to say the least. The radio worked ok but seemed to have trouble in the woods. I'm so glad i switched to the 60csx. No comparison.

So how was the company to deal with? Did you get it quickly (how fast?) and were you happy with the sale?
This is the lowest price I've seen yet so I figure I'll get it here if it's all on the up and up.
Also want a cigarette lighter adapter plug and city maps '08.

I bought one from BuyEretail last month and they shipped it out pretty fast. I haven't used it as much as my Zumo yet, but it is very sensitive and accurate. I just ordered a TT mount so I can put it on my 530 when it comes in.

Most of us who have them aren't interested in parting with them, even if a new unit comes along. The "x" series is THAT good.

Where is the 60 Cx listed on that site? All I could find was the 60 CSx.

Thats why I'm considering a "spare". With my kind of luck, a newer model will be a step backwards...sort of why I bought a few spare GSes when the new ones came out.

there is an interesting comparison between the 60CS and the 60CSx here

you know we pay $799 au retail for the CSx ($699 for the Cx) in Australia and there is no rebate available either. That would be $678 US and $593 US respectively. But they do throw in free delivery though.

Sucks to be us

Good deal LVR.

I netted 300 bucks for a 60CSx last Nov. with $50 rebate. No extended warranty.

I'm on my second warranty return in 10 months. Extended warranty is a good idea. Don't get me wrong these little buggers can take a bump! Good stuff! I don't think I'll be using it again on a road bicycle. Great for everything else: dual sport riding, hiking, car.
I'm all for the alt. and compass sensors even at 50 more bucks. Especially the stationary compass yes I use it.

Enjoy,

Thats why I've brought a unit over to a rider in Europe...it was half the price after all was said and done. Sorry, I'm not heading to Oz though...not yet.

You have to wonder about Garmin's pricing anywhere but in North America.

Just received my 60CSx from BuyERetail and would buy from them again. Called on Tuesday to see about changing delivery because I hadn't received a shipping notice. Was told it shipped Friday, and 20 minutes later the doorbell rang.

I didn't go for the extended warranty, after reading it basically didn't cover anything I could actually see going wrong with it. Especially since the dont cover screen or buttons. I'll take a gamble and try Garmin service if something craps the bed after the original warranty runs out.

Check around, you can probably find a better deal than that out there.
