That's good to hear, I just put down a deposit on 08 450 EXC-R (same motor as the xc) and was having some second thoughts if I should just go with the 530 EXC.

You and Ned. Damn you all to hell.

I'm taking a beating here. Maybe if I just stop fighting it and pass out, it will all just pass.

I've ridden CodyS's ADV, Ned's ADV and Yellow Pigs ADV and am willing to do what I must to ride Ned's SE, but DOG Gamnit, you guys need to go away.

Thanks for the discussion and the test ride at WF. Am I crazy for thinking about selling the @?

He rode mine, so it's all over soon...

Congrats, Hayduke! Just realized you've got a 950 and very pleased about it.

Cool video, (see note below )

Hi Ned, great bike you got there, I got to ride one briefly last week, lots of fun. (I got to ride an HP2 a couple months ago)

Beings that I'm kind of a Beemer guy I was tossed up between the HP2 and the SE both are fantastic fun

So as it turned out, yesterday I got to take a G650 X-Challenge out for a day of technical trails.

I'm not confused anymore I bought one when I got back to the dealer. Hope you get to ride one soon. It's too much fun with half the maintenance

Note: did you guys notice the pile of rear tires in the video?

All kidding aside, one of these days I may go orange the 950R SE what a blast. (Photo's by Oregon-DSR at PNWGS-Rally)

If they cross to the Adventure I'll take the right one and mounting hardware. Mine has never been the same since hitting that Tasker's Gap dildo rock following the TE510s. I quess I got ruined that day too ... a TE510 was in the garage two weeks later.

Some of the early SE's didn't have them. It's not really a passenger friendly rig anyway.....

I rode SST's today and did not get mine home until too late. I am riding it in the AM and I expect the grin factor to be pretty damn high.

Yeah but, I find passenger pegs to be a nice location for my feet on longer rides. Who needs a passenger?

Mine didn't have them. Because of the weight savings, I didn't have to get rid of the stock exhausts. In fact, I have Powercell's originals when mine get beat to shit. They are sturdy as hell. Great bumpers when you crash!
