I have Caribou Luggage (Pelican cases) and was able to get the oval ADV to stick but cannot get the Ride The World Cutouts to stick...

The clear cover is stickier than the script letters to the case... Is there any trick to those or am I just out of luck on the Pelican with the custout decals..

When I had a Pelican case I had a bit of trouble getting any sticker to stick to it. I used a 0000 steel wool to scrub the surface, then cleaned the surface thoroughly with rubbing alcohol, then the stickers stuck pretty well.

Thanks for that tip... I got the oval ADV to finally stick though this may have made it easier..

I am not convinced that will even work with the "cutout decals" as there is such a small surface to adhere to and then to get the clear cover to pull off. I have already likely killed one of the 4 that I bought...

I probably should have ordered the Regular Rectangular RTW stickers, I just thought the White Cutout RTW would look so good...

You shouldn't have an issues on the RTW cutout decals on the Pelicans. I have a few RTW and Dakar man decals on my Pelicans and they've stuck really well after a quick clean with water.

The ADV stickers haven't stuck so well I'm afraid.

I guess I'm just not up on motorrader jargon...please tell me, what does FYYFF mean?

Also, when I come through Toronto late this summer, will you apply the stickers to my helmet and BMW GS? Is there an installation fee? Do I need an appointment? Can I pay in US funds?

It's our ADV salute and greeting... try a smilie like this : fyyff and see what happens, but no space between : and "f".

Helmets have compound curves so any sticker you affix will have creases.. and won't look very good.. For a buck or two, it's a lot simpler to mail the decals you want. US$ is fine.
