Hey punkenduro,
When did you try this? I was hoping to get to Wildomar OHV area Sunday morning.

Bluhduh Sorry Gramps!

Save your gas, all the gates here are closed for reasons previously stated, sorry...

Wild-Omar is also closed. If we get rain on Monday or Wednesday, it will stay closed to prevent damage.

We tried to drive up there from Rancho Capistrano. No way, snow and ice blocking the whole road...

Pointman, on scene!

Cory, all I know is what the USFS guys told me Friday evening. They said all the gates were locked.

Might be fun to check it out tho'...

Tried to enter South Main Divide from Tenaja Road today and found the gate closed as well. Bummer, but it was a beautiful day to ride regardless (other than the Christmas shoppers changing lanes at the last second without looking to get to their stores).

skyline dr

Skyline was open but i will bet not for long... there were at least 50 trucks, jeeps, bikes tearin it up, trail was way more fun but the forest guys will never let it continue....its like theyve never seen mud?
still some snow (very little) and a couple people went around the gate up past golfball to who knows how far theyll get before a big ticket....hopefully they wont ruin it for all of us....
people.... relax ok?

Jeff,
No, sorry to say it wasn't me. I did pass a couple of guys on what looked to be KTM's, as if they just found out the gate was locked. Those were the only bikes I saw. I am sure we will cross paths at some point once the gates open.

Silverado gate maple road, closed as 12/20/08.

Forest guy told me it would stay closed until the snow melted, that sucks. So maybe open Monday 12/22/08!! RJD

Actually the last time I rode up Lincoln a few months ago , There was a housing track that was being built and a sign saying trail closed.
I just road around it and it was in-fact not closed.......

Do they ever open Blackstar Cyn?

opening?

theres no way there opening it (main divide) until at least a week AFTER it stops raining and all the snows long gone......bummer

then they will have to fill any ruts and move all the big rocks...

somebody might stub a toe or something..

good news

the good news is mostly all the snow was melted by the last storm and the next one should finish it off!
Now we just need some DRY weather for a bit.....
