The furthest north gas station you can drive to in North America.

Hey, I can DO this!
Not exactly your typical adventure bike, but then again not your typical gas station either. Heck, it wasn't even open. I just can't resist a hand written sign with the words "Chuck Wagon" on it.
.Note also the masking tape wrapped around the pumps. Good thing I didn't need gas! -Tom |

Two bikes, both nearly out of gas; we stopped at this totally random NHC (No Human Contact) gas station waay out in eastern Washington. We were both running on fumes from our looong, straight (fast!) dash out to Grand Coulee dam and back from Lake Chelan on farm roads. We were so glad to see these lonely gas pumps, but weren't sure we could even buy gas. Sho' nuff, insert magic plastic card and pump away -- not a soul, not a fence, not a power line in sight for miles around. Just lots of sky.

Marathon Shell, Florida Keys. I use the Shell mastercard which gives me a 5% rebate on premium at $3:60/gallon. The Bonneville returns 43mpg.
