Bit off topic, but in the pic above what do you keep in the tube behind the front wheel. I've seen several pix of bikes with these- is it tent poles?

I can't speak for others but, in my case, the tube contained my self-designed and built "trail jack". I was riding solo and figured that it would be a lot easier, to fix a flat, if I had some sort of a jack instead of having to locate a big rock (esp. if it happened to be a rear flat). I've read where others use them to hold tools. My tent's poles fold up small enough to fit within the tent's 'ditty' bag.
