I love MOAB! We were there last year, 2011. I road my DR200 there but am looking for a bike with a bit more go an suspension now, hoping for a WR.

Ha! Lady bug that is funny. I struggled on the sand too! Let us know how your relationship with sand goes. I am just starting to feel more comfortable swimming in loose gravel, not quite ready for deep sand

Central to NE New Mexico- May 15th to June 1
North Arizona- South Utah- June 2 - June 15th
Colorado- June 16th- July 1
West Wyoming/ South Idaho July 2- July 15th
Yellowstone to Glacier July 16- August 1st
Seattle south to Los Angleles with Cascades and N Cal Aug 2 - September 1

Unless unforseeable weather delays me... lol

Don't take a real job until you do this trip. Sounds amazing and once you start working for someone it's so hard to take that much time off unless you quit, which isn't terrible either. Can't wait to read about your trip! Looks like you are in for a great summer!

The OP said something about the "SheWee". I googled it, and there is a website with everything you ever wanted to know (or didn't want to know). I am guessing my oil funnel would work the same way?

...well, initially I wondered if yours was even a genuine question....my apologies.

It seems that both options work on the same principle, but there are a couple of other issues to consider, first: you have to carry the thing around with you.
For a fairly private person that is pretty awkward (like me).
Second: cleanliness, keep it in a ziplock? Frankly, I always opted for other solutions for that reason and found that when I am THAT far from a faucet and a restroom of some kind - I also do not need to worry about who's around.
Seems wise, however to "go" when given the opportunity. Found out that in general I last longer than the average fuel tank so that's worked out without any problems. It's been much easier to carry a paper seat for restrooms and a single pack of tissue in my pockets as well as a disinfect wipe (also single pack) than something I'd later have to stick back into the luggage after using it.

...and you's still need to keep some sort of wipe with you and something to clean one's hands.....although, I generally don't see the guys worry about that while out in the middle of nowhere much.

(amazing what people don't think about along those lines though, always glad to have a strong immune system!)
