OK, Justal, If we can somehow get Bacon to Perth mid to late Feb, another ADVrider is travelling to Canada and would be happy to take Bacon. Thats one option.... I'm sure some Canadian's would take care of Bacon from there??

This will be fun!
I'd love to carry the pig. I'm in eastern Pennsylvania and will pick up the pig and drop the pig off wherever I fit in the journey in the northeast!

EC-135 (Euro-Copter Twin Engine) I am just the passenger. And you though limo rides were expensive and nice....You can't beat this for the daily commute to work and back!

Piglet will have fun!

Nice Thread!
I am doing a tour of mainland Europe for 4 weeks in April 2008. the plan is to visit in this order (roughly!!);
Start from Ireland,
England,
France,
Spain,
Portugal,
Italy,
Switzerland,
Austria,
Netherlands,
Germany,
Denmark,
Norway, Nordkapp (Artic Circle)
Sweden,
Finland, and return home via
Sweden,
Scotland,
Ireland

I can offer my services and either carry Bacon all the trip or meet other European Riders to pass/collect.

Red,

The pig hasn't started his journey yet. I was actually trying to hold off his start until mid January when I head off to Tasmania for 9 days and then hand the pig over to 'Justal' who will take him to either Ayres Rock or Birsbane Australia. I'm thinking though that maybe we cant wait till mid January and maybe I just have to start the pig off with a big day run somewhere?? Anyone heading out of Victoria Australia in the next month on a ride? I'd love to ride the first few hundrede K's with the pig and then be happy to hand him over?? Maybe hand him over on the murray river somewhere or on the GOR?? Any thoughts. maybe 2-3 weeks time?? Otherwise I'll wait for the Tassie trip in Jan. Bacon is definately IN THE BUILDING but he's keen to go.....

I'll also write up some headings, details in Bacons personal travel log so people know what to fill out. I.e. Start locatation, end location, how many kilometers, who carried him, what sort of bike.....dates etc....

I'd gladly take him!

After the last 2 weeks at work my manager is begging me to take some time off!

I'm heading to Adelaide on Boxing day so there's another option.

Let me know.

If Bacon needs a ride in southern Ohio or North/Central/East Kentucky, I would be happy to give him a lift if he doesnt mind riding a KLR.
