I can help pass the pig. I'm in Michigan, near Detroit.
And a sticker, too.

I am sure a few of us over here in this beloved green isle could ensure the pig got a good viewing of our fair land..

I'm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, so probably next to the other North Texas people. It looks like the pig is going to have quite the convoy taking it across this state.
Everything is bigger in Texas, so it's only right ;-) |

too much planning
Nothing against any of what comes before, but this amount of structure is very "un-dude". Send the bugger off and when it meets ADV friends AND is abused, AND comes back home, declare victory and award medals. Most of us set off without firm plans and consider the fellowship of others to be the secret of our journey. We need pictures, however. What if you just sent a camera and instructions? Maybe too much trust? I think not.

Goatroper has a point. Tell the pig to follow either the sunrise or sunset, give him his notebook with directions in case he gets lost & send him on his way.
I don't think we need a special pig. Just a run of the mill oinker, with guts & determination. Like most ADV rider types.

yeah, good point. maybe we are over engineering this a bit. I'll have the pig in about 2 weeks and will of course post pics including his log book that i already have. I'll start him off with a trip around Tassie and then hand him over to 'Justal' in melbourne around the end of Jan. From there, lets just see what happens??????
