Up to 40 km's now , still good

Although the dealer did not do a proper PDI , i found one of the swingarm protectors not bolted down at all

Needless to say spending the day going over every nut an bolt

sat in my garage last night just admiring the bike , it really is sexy

guys here in italy milan area if you go to the dealer with cash you can get the tenere at 6.8K€

List price here in Austria is €9000. We have a stupid special vehicle tax in addition to 20% VAT, though.

The Ténéré is not selling well at all, though (wonder why...), so I have seen them marked down to €7200.

If anyone thinks they pay over the odds, then you ought to check out the prices here in Norway.
A new Tenere without any extras will set you back just under 13000 euros! And that is cheap for Norway. You can only imagine what a bimmer will cost you. Still I was one of the stupid ones, and bought a brand new Ten and I love it. Its only money (that I dont have)! You only live once, and I new I would regret not getting one far more than getting one.

Guess i was lucky had the cash rang around for a few days asking for the best deals and played each dealer off each other, then bought locally, they were shifting 08 models as 09 models were due out, there were a few dealers on ebay at the time selling them roughly for that, its a 08 on 09 plates, but who cares.

mind you with all the extras now fitted its cost me a fortune :(

Blimey , thats an excellent price. in south africa its the equivalent of +- 8000 Euro not negotiable. Only just been launched here.

I don't think we'll see the Tenere in the U.S. until our currency stabilizes. Why would a Japan based company want anymore shrinking U.S. Dollars?
