Would like to find

Any of you guys know someone in the Akron/Portage lakes/Manchester area that owns a blue KTM Adventure. I've seen him twice on my street (Renninger Rd) and would like to meet him. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I've been exploring the old abandoned rail beds around Malvern mostly. There's supposed to be one that goes all the way to the state line from the area, but I haven't found it yet. I'd love to get some local information. I'll be sure and pack the SPOT and the block and tackle if I tag along. I'm not sure the KLR, or me will be able to keep up, but I'll try.

Gorman talks a good story but he is always helpful with those with less experience than he has. Which is most of us.

I'm looking for a old retired rider or someone that rides during the week. I'm almost always ready.

I get a morning off every other week or so. I usually don't know when much more than a day in advance. Since I can't plan anything, I usually run errands, or ride. I'll hit you up next time it happens.

Sorry I missed it, had a feeling something was going to come up to prevent me from attending.

Mother in Law is OK, wasn't a heart attack, but wife is still on edge.

"I'm looking for a old retired rider or someone that rides during the week. I'm almost always ready."---- I am semi retired, the worst part of which is the work portion. After October 9th I can and do ride almost everyday, prefer early mornings.

Ed- really hope Joan's mom is OK. Can't blame her for being on edge.

Finally, what was supposed to be a short ride ended up being much more but we finally rolled in around 930 as it was getting dark.

New tag, should be easy to find.

This is one of the many "Cry Baby" bridges throughout Ohio. You can find out more here

This is a public park, HOWEVER, the groundskeepers live in the old mill so make sure if you go there after hours, you only tag the sign at the entrance. If you have decent bike handling skills, go out the back drive and up the hill, it's steep, rough and has a switch back. I can make it up on a bicycle so it shouldn't be too bad.

KLR? I thought you had a BMW???

There are many abandoned rail beds in that area. Some still have the rails in tact, some don't. Google Earth should be able to help you. You may want to check the rail bed that leaves Mineral City.

I take a spot with me also and usually at least on ratcheting long tie down just in case I get in deeper than I intended. Unfortunately, I ride alone a lot so there isn't always help so I avoid getting myself in a situation that is over my head. btw, I never make anyone do anything they are uncomfortable with and I rarely ever practice rally speeds when riding with others unless it is too keep up.

Gene, That Blue Adv has been spotted down around Canton also. Someone thought it was me but mine's silver. I rarely ever get weekdays off unless the banks are closed (Gov't holidays). However, if the ride is worth it, I can get the day off with at least 24hours notice, meaning as long as I know the morning before and there are no projects on a tight dead line, I can take off.

Thinking about poking my nose around either Wayne or Allegheny next Saturday.
