Thought I would "Meander" over to this VFW "Post" to get a pic of this sweet chopper

It is on the road with the same name as the town it is in.

Nice route, I guess I would just have to give up on sleep to make this work...

Great tag,

Google was giving me some trouble with this one but I found it.

No sure when I can get to it though.

Mods vs Rockers micro report v.2

I copied this from the ADV in Ohio thread. I thought it was a cool scene and wanted to share the pics.

Mods vs Rockers micro report

"Hey Thom, where are all the tat girlies? I know you must have digitized a few. .... um... my wife wants to see them since I was trying to explain the scene. __________________"

Couldn't waste any digital space on those nasty beeahtches... too many nice bikes.

you passed the test and saved me a beating.

NICE work

I scored a couple of shots with culture icons in the background. Interesting time. Well outside of my little village.

( here are some crappy phone pics...Thom, can you post some of the camera stuff?)

We need to form an ADV posse for next year.

The group ride, pre-ride meeting

The ride MC was strategically located away from the mob.

Wild eyed Duc

Weathered Warrior

This guy just cracks me up ( legend has it that this and a couple others were ridden to St. Louis to retrieve a van, then loaded up and driven back). TRUE ADV style!

This was the guy's RAT bike. Heck of a nice bro from Garrettsville, Good to meet you Scott!. Good blasting 422 into a straight line on the way home too.

What is this thing compensating for?

Classic good times

SlipChip found us wondering around and I guess we stuck out for some reason??? No tattoos?

JUST TO CLARIFY: SLIPCHIP is standing to the right NOT on the SlipChip Mobile.

The Good the bad and the fugly........you decide

Next year should be a blast. There were well over a hundred bikes and scooters. The parade through the Emerald Necklace was really cool.

Here's a link to the mods vs rockers homepage.

Okay, I'll play

First some pix from the CarKultureshow on Madison in Lakewood.
There were a number of bikes entered just not as may as the Mods Vs Rockers thing. Perhaps next year they won't schedule these on the same day...
These are my friend Brad's BSAs

A modified BSA by Gasbox

A very cool Indian 4

Some guy on a Norton Commando

^Clearly a Yahoo, yer s'posed to ride these things...^
Some sort of bizarre Lambretta

Even more bizzare International cement mixer engined thing...

A very nice looking Norton

There are a bunch of real cool car shots in this folder http://s168.photobucket.com/albums/u...ulture%20wknd/
I rode down to the Mods vs Rockers thing (NOTGATT) down at the Spitfire after a bit but by then I was having battery issues so I didn't get alot of pix...

I saw these bikes there and i walked around a bit till I saw some guys that did not quite fit in with the scene...

Good job, I kept looking on google for VFW posts around the Meander Reservoir, but couldn't figure it out.

Never thought to google "Meander Post VFW".
