I'm in, with enough notice, and being allowed to come by cage.

Sure, you are allowed, but what is up with that?
I am counting on you for some good location suggestions since you seem to be a connoisseur.

Why not Peninsula Winking Lizard? In between Cleve and Akron, and a nice ride in.

Nice spot, gets pretty crowded on nice days...

Wasn't sure if it was going to be a ride and eat, or just stop and eat. I didn't want to be the 5000# caboose on a ride.

Ha, connoisseur. You sound like my brother.

I agree, the Lizard can get crowded, but it shouldn't be as bad on a week night. Fishers across the street is pretty good, but that's usually my breakfast stop. I can't recall when I've ever been there for dinner. I guess I'll have to go and investigate next week.

Chip will be posting the next one, but for now we're enjoying dinner on the porch at Winking Lizard in Peninsula
Wow busy day in the Valley yesterday! I was at Hale Farm around 2-ish, pre-tag most likely.

If you're coming up the towpath let me know. It runs real close to my house, and i think my ass will last long enough on the mountain bike to the Lizard.

Yeah,, ya know, I am not much into group rides myself... I figure we meet and greet, do a little bench racing and split. If guys want to group up on the way in or out that's cool too.

I'll be up several times this summer for family events near CAK/Alliance. Hoping to get together with you guys at some point for lunch or dinner.

Congrats on the new gig, Chip.

no - wasn't you then - I was following the same route as you and something white white and BMW enduroish looking went the other way on Ledge.

Also ran into somebody along the canal under Valleyview tonight on a red KLR with an ADV sticker on the back of a givi-ish top case. He wasn't real talkative at the stop light and didn't sound like he is on this thread.

If it's at the lizard we'll probably have to call ahead for seating, that place is a screaming baby ampitheatre. There's a Mexican joint up the hill and olde 8 that's ok, and usually not packed, they have a deck, food, and beer
