This report brought me to tears, mostly laughing out loud at the exceptional writing and pictures! I hope you guys are still reading the replies to this RR to know how much you have impressed us all. I was deeply moved by your friendship with Jose and how difficult it must have been to see the damage to the people and country. This has just made me even more grateful to have a bike and be able to ride! Cheers!

Fantastic story, the kind of trip we all dream about, but don't have the guts to undertake.

Man, this made me miss Africa a lot. Been living in the US since 1984, and have not been back since 1999.
