Yes, they are. For instance, the DT125 uses the same

So what year YZ125 forks fit the steering head on the XT. My first ride with my son on the XT confirms what you guys say, the forks really need attention . Instead of rebuilding them I might just convert them.

Hi mate!

The space under the tank was really much more than i thought.
You can use it freely.

I also have changed my flasher bulbs to 21watt automotive bulbs.
and used standard automobile flasher relay for them.

XT350 had an electronic relay and i had problems for different bulbs as well.

If the standart automotive relay doesnt work properly due to lower total power of bulbs, you can add an electronic resistor in series to the wiring
after or before the relay.

Best wishes,

SKY

You seems to have good knowledge about electrical systems, so I will ask a question: what flasher relay will work well for leds or for 10w bulbs? I changed my flasher lights, but they don't flash with 10w bulbs, I need to replace the bulbs with 21w ones (stock ones), but they burn the plastic very often. I would like to mount 10w bulbs to fix the issue completely

Poor Bastard

Well the young guy, that I traded the XR600R to get the XT350, did not take my warning about the power of the 600 seriously.
His mother just e-mailed me and said he is in the hospitial getting surgery on his leg and knee. Seems that the bike did not like the way he rode. He had never ridden anything but the XT350, so, why is it when someone, that has experence on a bike, warns someone about the dangers of the bike, that they think they know better?

She made it seem like it was my fault that he wrecked because I traded the bike to him. He is 19 years old, not my fault right?

I hate it for him but I guess he knew better.

Caveat Emptor
He is 19 years old and most likely thinks his first cousin is Superman.
No reason for you to be blamed, he was the one that did it.
As the Honda sticker goes.

My kids had these on all their bikes.
I used it alot when they screwed up.

Relay

I was having a lot of trouble with my stock relay. I switched to this one:
Tridon/Hazard Warning Flasher

Part Number:
EL12

Its sold off the shelf at most Autozones for $9.99. I did not have to modify anything with stock bulbs or connectors. Plug n play!

I've found a great deal on a set of xt 350 wheels. They rims are the exact same model and size as is on my XR650L. Does anyone know what size axles the XT350 uses? I'm kinda hoping to be able to use these as a 2nd set on the Honda without major modification.

Yea I saw them too. I would be worried about the rotor and sprocket placement. If you want you can ride the XR down here one evening and put the bikes side by side and wrench away to see if it will work. PM if interested.

OR

You could just buy them and if they don't work I will make sure they find a good home and will not charge you disposal fees.

On a serious note I have an XRL front rim with rotor you can buy. Needs to be trued a bit. I used it as my dirt rim on my old XRL.

The guy is out of town, but I'm meeting him Tuesday to look at those wheels. I'll probably just take the wheels off my XRL and take them with me to compare side by side.
