Just checked my pics from the auction. It did not have the scoops there either.

Hey Steve. Shot you a PM.

FWIW full manual is at

http://www.4shared.com/dir/12621952/...8/sharing.html

I've messed around with it a bit and got it down to a single 55MB ZIP file, will put it somewhere sensible eventually.

Thanks Sharkey, just what I was looking for!

Anybody got a source for the rear turn signals?

Steve

G'day Steve,

Cannot say I know of it. Maybe post a query in the oz honda thread in Regional - Australia directory.

I ordered the parts fiche from the local dealer on Wednesday. I checked with them today & Honda has not regretted it (yet..) so fingers crossed it's on the way.
Failing that, I've located a company about 70km (45 Miles?) away who can convert my Parts Microfiche to CD-rom (pdf files). Anyway, hopefully I can tell you either way next week some time.

Cheers

Thanks Thunder Dan

I was able to down load copies of the manual and a parts list via Sharkey. They came out well so I'm in good shape.

I'm not able to find the correct rear turnsignals and airfliter in the US however.

Hi Steve

For turn signals, try xl600r. they share part numbers.

Thanks Oscar, The fronts looked the same to me, I'll check the rear.

The part number I have is 33550-MG7-601/750/602

Here are the XL600R parts

These have the -10 and -11 adaptor that takes a TA style signal. Could work! The ones on my bike are one piece with the longer stud

Here is a picture of an after market item from FleaBay and from a honda parts list

The aftermarket one's are too floppy, not enough support.

Turn Signals

Struck out at the local Honda Dealer today.

The -10 and -11 parts for the XL600 are no longer available. I may have to make my own.

Steve you're right. The stalk on the XL600R is shorter. Hmm... Close but no cigar. If you come up with a solution keep us posted. I'll do the same on my end.
