Here is a pic of one of my great uncles. No idea on the date. And definitely clueless about the bike. Any ideas?

Fan cooled Puch, sold at one time by Sears? Not too many bikes had the fan shroud.

I guess there is no way of knowing what year the picture was taken, but the Volkswagen is a 68 model for sure. It has the newer bumpers and 4 lug wheels which came out in 68 but not the fuel filler door which came out in 69.

Looks like a Puch MS50 to be specific, I can remember a friend's older brother having a new one of these in about 1973-74.
