Some very nice examples. That last one looks to have a lot of XS parts (engine (duh), frame, swingarm, tank) with just some well chosen upgrades (forks, fenders and shocks). Really well done. Tree, Is it yours?

A few weeks ago, Derek Rickman was in town for an evening hosted by a local bike shop.

I had to ask him if he and his brother ever made a specific frame for the XS 650. He said no, but he thought it'd be an easy swap with just a change of motor mounts from a Triumph.

I saw a Rickman-framed XS 650 Dualsport on a Canadian forum once, Lovely bike.

This thread is giving me some expensive toughts. I'm a 2-stroke junkie through and through but it if I had to own an old 4-stroke one of these bikes sure would do the trick.

Yeah, on one of those XS 650 web sites their was one that was bored and stroked out to 900cc. Kick start only
