Do any of you remember a flat tracker named Don Kiger back in the mid 60s? I was in college at Ohio University, he had his shop near there. He had had a very bad accident a few years before and nearly died. I bought his last flat track bike in a "basket". BSA Gold Star. What a bike! (after I got it running). 13 to 1 compression even back then. I watched him kick 45cu.in. Harley flat heads with regularity.

I'd post my GN400 ice bike/tracker if I could only figure out how to post the pics!

You are allowed to have a rear brake

In AMA Vintage we follow the rules from AMA Grand National racing in certain time periods.

From the beginning in the 30's to 1968 there were no brakes allowed in AMA Grand National Racing. (In 1969 brakes were optional) Not only did they have no rear brakes 99.5% of the bikes didn't have any rear suspension either.

I race a 1968 Yamaha DT1 250 in a Sonic Weld Hard Tail chassis, in the Ironman 250 brakeless class. There for, no brakes at the end of the drive way on test runs.

Donzilla! At ACTUAL size! LOL.. Seriously though, how tall are you Don. You're riding the heck out of it but you do make that bike look sorta small.

Sorry, grabbed the wrong sized one. I do kind of have a way of making bikes look small. I can't imagine why, I'm only 6'-7" tall and weigh in at a measley 240lbs

One of the coolest flat trackers on the planet. The Woody Kyle/Jay Ridgeway Kawasaki 350cc Big Horn. They both achieved a lot of success on this beast.

Oh Yea , Durelle Racing has a limited number of DOT streettracker tires in stock. They kind of look like a Maxxis dirttrack tire .. Just saw them and they are very cool for street legal tires..
