'96 S1 Buell. Thunderstorm motored and sitting a little taller than original.

Does that make it a "Street Tracker"?

It sure was fun!

Dunedain, the both feet up style is awsome, but not a new thing. I went to the half mile in Louisville in 1977. King Kenny was there trying to beat the Harleys. He had a mono-shock Xs 750 that was balls out fast, but the Harleys still had the edge.He rode with his feet on the pegs 98% of the time . His control was remarkable. I saw other guys try to minmic his style but no one was really able to pull it off.
The race was won by a guy you may have heard of Jay Springsteen.

Well about a year after I finished a guy saw it and was pretty intent on buying it, so I sold it and with the money I bought a brand new 08 XR650L! Not a bad move I'd say, but my plans are to flog it off road and to work and then... TADDA!!! Flattrack it too!!! Just can't seem to scratch that itch... hope you like the pics'...

How do ya'all feel about Ice Trackers?

This is multi-time Canadian Superbike Champion Jordan Szoke having a little fun on a February afternoon in Ontario.

That's bad-ass. I'd sure hate to fall on that. Dry leather meets cold and wet slush. Brrr..

From the picture I'd guess it was at least 34F- I hated racing when it got that warm. Traction was best at about 10F and you stayed dry.

There was nothing dry about it.

Was funny to watch every lap he'd cut a funny line to douse his buddies in the pits.
