that's the model i learned to ride a motorcycle on, in the mid 50's.
at cummings H-D on dort highway in flint mich. bert used to let me ride em around back from on display up front at closing time when bart markel was an up & comer. thanks......db |

Too funny! I do a random photo grab from an old magazine (Cycle, December 1980) and you two blast back with more of the bike's family!! Glad it didn't end up as scrap metal.

The amount or re-engineering that went into that bike was pretty incredible. Despite all the effort, it still stunk at the race track. I think the only reason that so many people remember the NS750 is that it was the predecessor to the very successful RS750.

It was an interesting re-purposing of the motor. Shaft drive pushrod twin becomes a dirt tracker. I like that old motor. It got Honda into the game. |
