That's not ugly at all! Very Art Deco and ahead of it's time. Telescoping suspension! Must have stolen that from Nimbus.

actually I think the Scott Motorcycle company started using undampened telescoping forks around 1908, nimbus started using them in 1934.
BMW however built the first hydraulically dampened forks on the R12 & R17 in 1935.

I really would like to own the Bimota (wood dashboard!) and the Hercules rotary (still less ugly than the Suzuki one!!)...
