... it certainly is a tough one to call.

For me, the VV has a singularity of design, a purpose, a cohesive thread running through the entire concept.

Where as the 1200C(L), looks as though it was designed by a committee of “foreigners” who were forced to communicate their design concepts, purely in written form, and only in the German language. Those design principals may then have been coordinated by someone who was equally at odds with the concept of “motorcycle engineering” and the German language, before being constructed by a group of technicians who had wasted too much of their youth listening to Kraftwerk and indulging in mind altering chemicals.

As I say, it's a tough one.

To paraphrase Prince Charles, “anyone can strap a carbuncle on an old friend”, and with that mentality anyone without a soul could render a 916 or F4 “ugly”, and by that token the 1200 C(L) is ugly because it couldn't be any other way.

No, for me it's the single minded determination of the designer(s) of the VV that set it apart from the long list of pig ugly motorcycles we have been offered ... so far.

Come on, can nobody else see it? How is this not the face of Pokemon?? I can see the Bozo the Clown resemblance alright (thus the nick name Bozo Bagger already being applied) but how is this not Pokemon?

Wtf?

Okay, I may be an American but I have done quite a few years in a variety of countries where motorcycle passion was an understatement. Ridden lots of Japanese Domestic Market bikes (some sucked and others rocked), lots of screwy French and Italian stuff, ridden 50cc street and trail bikes, but really! WTF! Are British kids the target of some demented marketing scheme? There is actually a moped version of this thing to get them on this thing at a younder age? Who the hell would buy it at any age? Well, maybe a kid with no bike would think it's cool. I guess some guys loose their Man Card very early in life. Looks like the beginning of a true Metro Sexual revolution to me. Not even room to haul around the transvestite you picked up. The only thing that would make it better is a wheelie bar and a TON of mirrors. Got to have more bling!
I'm still stunned!

Fantic Chopper "Sports Moped" - the UK version had pedals to allow 16yr olds to ride them...

Good Lord! That has to be the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

Were they laughing hysterical or leading a guide dog when they said it?

If not, thats probably because everyone thought you must have a mental problem if you spent money to buy such a hideous bike.
People are always nice to retards.

Ha! One man's meat is another's poison.

I remember when I first saw an F650, I thought it was the ugliest bike I'd seen. Now I walk out every morning, open the garage door, and say to myself "what a fine looking motorcycle".

No sniping intended. It's just every time I see this picture...
