Passing through

Will be travelling through from Turkey from the 11th September heading for Dusseldorf in Germany. I have 5 days for the entire trip.

Route looks like Turkey-Bulgaria-Serbia-Croatia-Slovenia-Italy-(maybe switzerland for some more mountain passes)-Germany.

Anybody able to offer ideas on accommodation (Turkey Bulgaria border area) + maybe somewhere in Croatia or Slovenia.

Road ideas would be great.

Don't know where are you going to enter Croatia, but I wouldn't miss the chance to ride the Monte Negro mountain roads(maybe there will be snow in september ) and go to the coast to see beautifull towns of Budva, Kotor and Perast. Then cross to Croatia on "Debeli brig" border crossing. From there ride along the coast and visit Dubrovnik, Ston, Split, Sibenik, Trogir, Zadar etc . Accomodation will not be a problem, because it is off the season so the prices will be around 10-15 euro per night. Just ask for "soba" or look for the signs that have that word written, or rooms, zimmer etc ,

ride on and enjoy the trip

in Macedonia, Ohrid is a good place to stay near the lake, vith a good history.

in Montenegro, you may visit Dumitor national park, along Tara river . it is a must see, with beautiful scenery. There was no snow there in september in 2007 when i rode

Also, what Frgich suggested is a very scenic route along the coast, i did Zadar to Dubrovnik last year and enjoyed v.much acommadation was no big deal, even at 23.00 hrs at night i was able to find places to stay.

Beld , in Slovenia, nr Austrian border , is another place to visit

..have a good trip
