Finally a LARGE gps

Get one of these babies, pair it with your favorite GPS software and you are off to the races. 10" of GPS screen bliss.

Too bad all the offroad GPS software is crappy.

whoa nelly, did you check the prices on those dealios ? $1500 for the 10", and $1200 for the 7" ?

i know people like 'new' and 'ruggedized' when they're being sold something, but you could literally smash TEN of the samsung galaxy tab 3 (8" device) things on rocks before you met the price of ONE of those.

they run the same software, actually the samsung tab would be more up to date, and more likely to recieve updates, because it sells more.

also, walmart has kids tablets in the 7" range that are better specs than either of these, for $129. look for the 'sero 7 pro' or the nabi kids tablets. slap a waterproof cover (or hell, DONT) and go riding. it's 1/10th the cost and better specs !

This one is much cheaper:

And may very well be my next GPS.. If I had not just purchased a new set of tires, I'd probably be ordering it now!

Of course, if someone else would like to try it out first, be my guest..!

I bought a 10' SuperTab with GPS thinking I'd mount it on my KLR. Figured I'd modify the windscreen into a bit of a holder/shroud. Sat it up there, took a long hard look. Nahh... just too big. I'm running a 5" now, mounted on the bars, and, you know, even with my failing eyes, it's big enough.

Oh, the SuperTab was $150 at the time, cheaper now, and 5" tabs are going sub $100, seen one with a dual-sim cell radio in it for $70. There's tough... and then there's disposable
