I recommend the Compu-Fire Regulator 55402. I have this on my '01 Tiger and my '07 Speed Triple, works great! It's a bit pricey at around $150, but I think it's worth it for peace of mind. It's a series style R/R instead of shunt style, which will let your stator run cooler and prolong it's life. You can find it on Amazon. It's not plug and play, you'll have to solder on some terminals, but it's easy.

I got a wiring harness directly from Triumph that allowed me to install a MOSFET regulator, Part # T2500676 from the dealer, it's not expensive.

Then you can search Ebay for regulators FH010, FH012, FH020, SH775 and probably a few others. It will be plug and play between the stator, the harness and any of those regulators. You may have to use a file to open up the mounting points on the regulator a few mm.

I did this a while back, been good to go and I spent under $50 total.

I got the Compufire as well. Worked like a champ for my Alaska trip this summer.

I'm curious, has anyone ran a Shindengen SH775 on a 955i?
Just ordered one from my local dealer (Polaris 4012941) for an '05 Tiger. Figured I'd give it a go along with the previously mentioned T2500676 harness and rewound stator from Custom Rewind.
