I usually check it in the morning, and I have posted there.

I just brought home a Versys last Wednesday.

The bike is an absolute ball to ride. It handles so well it's almost intuitive.

I'm looking forward to getting enough miles on it to really wring it out. The motor just feels like there is so much potential there. The shifter works so silky smooth and the clutch and it are so compatible. It's a rider's ride and just responds so well to rider input. I'm really liking it.

Yep, us Versys riders do take pictures . . . . .

+1 on the VS, Only had it a week, but lovin it. It is exactly what I was hoping for in a bike. Comfortable, Quiet, plenty of range and very inexpensive to maintain.

I'm IN!

Doyline, Louisiana. Only one in area I believe. Bought mine in Kansas and rode home. Took 650 miles to go 480, ha! During breakin you can only do like 4000 rpm and 50mph, so stayed on backroads, mostly in Arkansas, 90 mo, 27 ar.

Ahh, on the other side of the state. Might have to get togethor for a ride. I want to see one in person. After reading the reviews it sounds like a nice package. And I have always been partial to Kawasaki. Nice lookin bike!

Got mine on monday! I've only been able to put 180 miles on it because its been raining and cold here in PA, but I loved every inch of those 180 miles so far.

I've VERY pleased with the bike.

Was there a thread about replacing the wheels to get a larger size in here yet? If so what was the consensus?

Gustavo was supposed to check to see if the Wee-Strom front wheel will fit, but he hasn't gotten around to it yet.

There is a Versys on every showroom floor I've stopped by lately. I really hope they offer another color in future seasons.

Heck, I kind of like the "Ferrari Red" color it's painted!

Just the fact Kawasaki listened to it's customers and dealers, relented and brought the bike to the states says lots to me about the fact they care.

I continually hear the Honda devotees asking for the Transalp, Afria Twin and Varadero. Does Hondo listen to them?

Same with the Yamaha afficinados. No Tenere, no XT660, just a new XT250. What's up with that?

Kawasaki is gaining sales by listening to what the customer wants, not what the marketeers think we want!

I picked my Versys up on Wednesday and have put about 100 miles on it. So far I like it. It handles well. The engine is smooth and responsive. I had to adjust a few things due to poor/no dealer prep. Not sure about the seat, a bit hard and not much room to move around. I may have to try the high seat.

A week ago I didn't know the Versys existed. I once had a 2006 Buell Ulysses. It was gone after a truck made a left turn on me. After healing I decided to replace it. My closest dealer had a 2006 Uly leftover rental bike with 900 miles. I was about to purchase the Uly when I decided to browse the Kawasaki web site and discovered the Versys. I looked at one, liked it and bought it. So far I have no regrets.

cb4017,

Let me guess here . . . .

Headlight adjustment was off.

Oil level was not right.

Front brake line holder not installed.

BTW, welcome to the Versys and also to ADVrider!

So, since you have owned both a Ulysses and a Versys, how do the two motorcycles compare? My opinion is that the Versys is a Ulysses "Light". Same kind of handling, same kind of responsive motor and a very fun ride.
