Just my impression. I think to be replaced by the Scorpion Trails that come on the new Multistrada. Has Avon indicated a replacement for the Distanzia?

Not yet this kinda insider from a very good reliable person. Who always is right about these things. I'm going to try and stockpile I love this tire. Unless something better and just reliable comes out I like the mt60 but mileage sucks

I just ordered trails for mine today.
I couldn't wait for the 160/60 so went with the 150/70. Will post an update after some miles.

There was no way I was going with a lower rated tire, I ride pretty aggressive on-road and didn't want to lose that feature of this bike. They are a terrific road bike. If it helps me down a dirt road or two I'll be happy.

If they're good enough for a 'strada, a F800, or a Tiger 800, they should be good enough for the Versys.

Versys Spring Tonic

Boppin' on Sherwood WVs Greenbrier Valley. 200 miles of byways and backways along the VA/WV state line and then touring the Greenbrier Valley. After Locust Creek, I beared west by southwest with a dogged determination due to an ever darkening sky and more frequent sky tears.

Aaaahhhhhhh!

Cool2 2009 versys

i just got a new 2009 blue versys from a dealer who was clearing out the new "old" models. when i get it between 3,000 and 4,000 RPM the instrument panel vibrates really loudly and annoyingly. does this happen to other people? if so how can i fix it?

Thanks

Yes fairing buzz notorius problem and that is the usual range.

Foam weather stripping or something fancier in strategiec places for example around instrument cluster (and other places you track down) works wonders.

+1. friend of mine went super crazy with the weather stripping and the whole thing went stealth. Cheap fully functional fix.

I've spent over 24h in 3 attempts to deal with the same issue on my 650R,
no result. Even with most plastics off, it's still there.. the noise is probably
coming from the dash/light cluster.

Another Versys run

Fiddlin' 'Round Fayette slideshow

Up and out early on a 150 mile byway and backway loop chock full o' twisties and a little local history. Sewell Mtn, New River Gorge, Kaymoor, Cunard, Batoff Mtn, Prince, Backus Mtn and home. It was 50* and I was south of New River when the drizzle set in. With sails at full billow and runnin' like sh&t thru a tin horn, me 'n Lil' Red made for home. The road begin to get saturated about 10 miles out from the barn. I all but escaped the now monsoon. One bitchin' good ride today.
