After I listened to the sound clip on YouTube I gotta have one.
Thanks

OK, I found one. Am I looking for the Scorpion for the Ninja 650R? Is that going to fit OK on my Versys?
Yes.

Versys Fender Eliminator

In my eyes there was one big piece of plastic ugliness attached to the back of my bike.

I bought the Targa fender eliminator kit and used the stock turn signals instead of those little things they include in the kit. I couldn't be happier.

I have more pics but it will only let me attach one.

I am soooooo doing that!!! I was thinking on how to do it myself but you've figured it out

Post more pics and links to the "eliminator kit".

That makes it look sooooo much better, IMHO.

I bought the kit off Ebay from the Targa strore. Do a search for Targa Versys Fender eliminator.

After you get it follow the instructions until it comes time to install the cheap little ugly turnsignals they give you.

Then just take the original turn signals off the old plastic fender piece and also remove the rubber flex part. What you're left with is a turn signal, a screw, and a washer looking thing with an extra loop that you feed the wire through. Now you have to file about 1/16" off the part of the turn signal that the screw goes into so that you'll be able to tighten it down... I also used the washer and lock washer mounting hardware from the new turn signals to mount the old ones.

EDIT: On second thought you may just want to buy the bracket (if it comes with the self adhesive template) and a plate light... if you aren't going to be using the turn signals.

Selling Versys

After much thought and trepidation , it looks like I may be selling my Versys.

Before putting it up on eBay or Craigslist, I thought I might try posting the notice on ADVrider. Is there a specific forum for posting bikes for sale on here?

Eliminator?

Not sure what you guys are spending your money on. I did not like the extended tail either, so I wacked it off (Plastic) just under the license plate. Even replaced the reflector at the bottom of the plate. nice improvement, cost $0
