I just discovered that I had several inquiries about a few of my Farkles.
(Pegs and panniers) Not to put anyone off, But I had expanded on what and how I did mine. guess anyone could go back and see the earlier post if interested.

I know this is trivial, but does Kawi offer the panniers in red? I've read in a few places they only come in black....

The answer is complicated.

They do offer them in "red", but they are still black...

BTW, you can order the same bags (including red insert) from Givi. The only difference is that it'll say Givi where those say Versys.

That's great! Too bad we have those thunderstorms moving our way in a couple of hours. Did you buy your first one locally? I stopped over at the Kawi dealer behind Bargain Barn yesterday and looked at the one they had on the floor.

Power Depot in Blairsville. If you go there ask for Gary. He is part owner and service manager. Really great guy ,will do what ever he can to make you a happy customer.

Don't need a centerstand! I don't have one on my KLR either. I use one of those little cruches for chain maintenance.

So we go up to look at a Versys in Blairsville, and the only one on the floor had just been sold. The new owner was there with a big grin on his face. Just wait a bit, and I am sure he will be on here bragging about his new ride
