I picked up the pace today and the Versys loved the action. Mostly 5th and 6th gear.

How would you compare your new Versys to your '04 SV650?
Great videos!

Lets see for one the stock suspension is better then the SV or the Ninja 650R. The SV is a little more powerfull but the DL is not. Both bikes make great power in the mid rpm range ,which I love. The SV is not as comfy but I think the DL is more comfy but not by much. I will take the handling over the little more comfy anytime. I love both bikes because I like mid size bikes. I am really in love with the Versys ,I cannot help myself. If you listen to us talking at the end of the video you can tell just how excited I am. At 57 years old it takes something special to get me in this kind of mood. I paid a little over 6300.00 for the Versys and it is the best bargain in the world on a bike this good.

Very Nice! Like said above, I agree the best bike out there for the money! It was a nice 35-degrees today and low wind, so took mine for a ride.

Looks nice Wiliam!

Sounds impressive coming from someone with your experience....What have been some of your more recent bikes ?

Have you noticed what the cruising rpm is at around 70 mph ?

I just sold my 04 SV650 and 01 XR650R motard to buy this bike. Last year I had two different SVs ,the problem was they were the first gen. and the carbs froze up on cold mornings. So I finally got the 04 with fuel injection and solved that problem. In 05 I bought a Buell City-X and we were in love right right up until I crashed into a utlity pole broke myself up pretty bad. Thought I would never ride again but here I am. It was not the bikes fault ,I ran over something and it put such a big hole in the tire that I did not have time to react. I have had just about every kind of bike there is. Speed Triples ,Concours ,ZRX , F650 , I need to set down and just see what I have had. The Versys will be doing about 70 mph at 6000 rpms. If you live in flat country or do not ride the curves very agressive you could gear it up. The bike has lots of pulling power.

Go here and help get the word out. If we want the Versys to stay Kawasaki needs to know we love it.

I have the only one in this area. You would think that people here would buy them to ride the mountains. Most ADV riders here buy BMWs ,to much money for a less fun bike.

Just exactly where are you, William? (You might want to update your profile, as it says nothing about where you live.) Those roads in your video look familiar... you're not in my neck of the woods, are you?
