Ha, Ha... you better get on it my friend if you want to make your own ride to Jarbidge. or are you taking the ole "Reclusive Red Stallion"

You do realize I have not ridden with you at all this year... what's up with that? Oh never mind you've got Heath to thrash now.

I was, but then Ed added more two track, so I'll be on the XRR. It takes the two track so much smoother, I can't justify the KLR's road comfort on the way home.

What exactly did you do to the XRR? I saw a picture of a dented front rim, what else?

Need to lube the swingarm and steering head if given the opportunity. Set the valves, oil, filter, and the other usuals. I ought to put a new chain on it... but likely won't until this winter. Already flipped the front around to run it the other way for another ride... then I'll have to change it out as well.

Ran like a top on the last ride, though ~ very pleased with it.

No matter how bad your seat it... it could always get worse.

Weekend run to Stanley

Hey all,

I am running up to Stanley for a few days and wanted to throw out an invite for anybody who might want to tag along.

Going to head out sat morn at about 9am and run pavement to Lowman and then dirt up Clear cr. and Bear Valley. Anybody that wanted to make it a day could run pavement back to Boise. I am going to head into Stanley for the night of camping.

I am planning on bumping around Stanley on Sunday and then head home on Monday.

Give a shout back if interested.

Ride tomorrow?

I want to go out to the desert, and ride fasttomorrow. I'd like to head out near Hemmingway, and work south to check out the Owyhee Outlaws race tomorrow.

I'll leave around 8 or 9am Sunday morning.

If you're interested, respond here, or send me an email.

I'm going to go run this route tomorrow after work, if anyone would like to join me. It's just a hair south of Fossil Creek trail head. The route is a 35 mile loop... and I'd like to go out and run it (as the markers will likely still be out there... or at least tracks will be out there) to see what the terrain is like for future races.

Anyone who'd like to go, call or email me. If I don't hear from anyone by tomorrow afternoon, I'll head out early and go by myself.

If you intent to go... call or email me, so I know, please.
