Well after the Hells Canyon ride I was starting to feel aquatic, however, are you implying I resemble Rygel?

Went to Battle Creek last night.

Passed everyone's favorite sign on the way:

Went through a nicely groomed road (great traction)

Passed Phil's new ride

Then onto the fun 2 track

I was going to go down to the original Battle Creek Ranch site, but Battle Creek was still too full to travel through alone (Phil ditched me), so I had to turn back at get a pic at the Dickshooter Ranch instead (for the 2010 Challenge).

I went home via the Oreana cutoff.

The fires were making for a beautiful red sunset.

total hijack

Sorry for the hijack, but,Jimmy Lewis is coming to the Wood River Valley and said he'd do riding clinics on July 10 & 11 outside of Hailey.PM me for info.
Back to riding, what's the story with the Trinities-how high can you get?
I plan to ride from Ketchum to Fall Creek(Anderson)-Dollarhide's open for bikes-and was planning to look around up high over the weekend.

Trinity is about 9500 ft. I'd imagine Dollarhide is open by now.

RWC-thanks,I rode my 650 over Dollarhide from the Ketchum side last Sunday.A bike is fine, but I wouldn't try it on a quad.I turned around at the Carrie cr bridge-the road was in great shape.

I had originally planned to run through Battle Creek, and hook up with Rowland Rd to the hot springs, but the fact that Battle Creek was FULL turned me back (since you have to cross it several times on that route heading south because I didn't want to cross it by myself ~ esp on the rocks. With the 4 gallons of gas on the back of the bike, and my two panniers... it was more weight than I wanted to wrestle by myself if I got stuck crossing, or dumped it mid-river. So, I got my pic at the Dickshooter ranch, and went home (instead of going the 100 miles around to get to Rowland).

Google Earth Problems

Since the mods moved my new thread to Trip Planning where it probably won't get much action, I'll ask the same question here:

I've searched and can't find much info on this. Has any one else noticed Google Earth is missing some things since about the first of the year? Specifically, a lot of the landmarks are gone. It used to show the names of reservoirs, lakes, mountains, etc. It never did show the names of rivers and streams which always annoyed me. I've tried messing around with the settings in the Layers section and still can't get it like it was. I can't be the only one to notice this right?
