Take Highway 45 south out of Nampa, to Walter's Ferry. Cross over the Snake River. Just after you cross over the river, the road Y's. Go left. You're now traveling south on Highway 78. About a mile after the Y, you'll turn right on Upper Reynolds Creek Rd -- there will be a sign saying something to the effect of "Hemmingway OHV this way." Go down the road, past the 'cow farm' and to the OHV parking area. You can't miss it. There's a nice little hill climb right there at the lot, and you'll see an old XT550 flying around it.

I think I'm in but the XR350 maybe the ride. 3 hrs until I would need to leave and I still need to change the front tire and do a couple other things on the DRZ if I'm going ride it.

I'm still in!! Cleaned the air filter and oiled the chain. Sounds like this is turning into a "classics ride". I'll be in a maroon Toyota Tundra with my classic '91 Suzuki RM250 with flourescent pink stickers and cool yellow and grey camo'd seat.

I'll see you there.

I'll be there from the looks of things. I may let you "Hard Core" guys run off and see who is the "Last Man Standing" while I play in the kiddie pool.

Where the heck IS your bike??

It was a great time. Lot's of good trails and good people. Thanks again RWC for the chain help. Hey, Loved the deep sand whoop whoops and those hills don't look very scary anymore.

You would have had fun Ed without being a hooligan. Lots of terrain to ride, no crowds and easy to navigate.

Tell Heath to heal quickly.

Thanks to everybody for letting me tag along yesterday. That is one of the best rides I've had this year. I was thinking about draining the gas out of the old 2 smoke to put away for the winter but, I had so much fun on the old girl I think I may have to go out again next weekend and the weekend after that etc... Special thanks to Ryan for being our tour guide on yesterdays excursion. Hemmingway Butte is a fantastic place to ride. Of course the perferct weather and perfect trail conditions didn't hurt either.

I also was impressed with the everyone on the DS bikes out there. I kept thinking how I was glad I wasn't on the KLR in all the whoops and sand and you guys just kept on following without to much complaint. I need to get the KLR out there after I get my nerf bars on so I don't have to worry as much about dropping the BGP ( Big Green Pig ). After seeing you guys riding I'm inspired to get out there on the KLR.

Thanks again for a great ride and it was nice to meet all of you as well.

Paul

Hey Paul,

Get some nerf bars, and lever protectors on that Pig, and we'll take it out there!

This Spring on the pig, in the sand at Hemmingway:

It was a great ride, RWC didn't cause any land closures yesterday. Appreciated his services as a tour guide. Good to meet more area riders.

to the DRZ. Did what I needed it to do.

Gotta get back out to Hemmingway within the next couple of weeks or I'm gonna go crazy
