That video is awesome! I look forward to you and/or others coming up here; it's time for summer riding. I have been drooling over maps for a couple days now and going on small rides.

What's this thread doing on the second page? Bump.

Memorial Day Weekend. I'm going to try to camp at Birch Creek on the Owyhee River one night that weekend. Leave early one morning, camp and come back the next day.

This will be a laid back type of ride. Level 3 mostly. No hurry because I plan on stopping and hiking around and checking out petroglyphs, old homesteads, etc. Laying around camp and vegging out. Relaxing.

This is dependent on my getting parts and putting my DR back together before then.

Everyone and anyone is invited, the more the merrier. Let me know if you are interested and I'll fill in the blanks.

Any day that weekend sounds good. I don't do crowded rv holiday crap. A tent in the sticks sounds great

Putting your DR back together again . You fall off again and break some stuff off that poor fragil DR of yours. Oh, wait, no its the KLR that keeps coming apart.

OK, I'm listening not committed but I hear you. In case you didn't know I am again semi-retired so I have free time in the middle of the week. But I do have plans unfolding.

Allrighty then, we'll leave Sunday May 29th and come back Monday May 30th. Meet up in Homedale for breakfast at 8:00 early thirty. Probably at the bowling alley, it used to have good food.

Owyhee Lanes & Restuarant
18 W 1st St, Homedale, ID 83628

Then we'll head south out to Poison Creek Road and hit the dirt.

RE: DR Parts (I'm waiting for a couple of bearings and seals for the rear suspension linkage.)

I guess I can put off any bike maintenance as well!

Dec 21, 2012 is the final end ( according to some other folks ) ... hope the word doesn't get out as bike sales might plummet
