(not exactly adventure rides so just on my blog)
Adventure is in the perspective and these are steps in the adventure of a life time. Enjoy them.

Oops.

At least it happened close to home. Phil had to drive 250 miles to come get my smoked KTM. He's never let me forget, either.

I need to get a good ride in! I have been way too busy recuperating my lawn from the previous residents' poor caretaking to get a decent ride in to report on. Plus, the weather has sucked and my lawn has a deadline for recup due to a family BBQ in July that everything needs to be perfect for (wife's words).
Soon, I'm gonna get an epic ride in with my Dad and visit 3 Forks for a day ride whenever the area dries out (grounded from mud after my last venture which left me nearly crippled).
If things don't pick up, you all a re gonna get a report of my ride to work and back (here's Amity Rd, theres Eagle Rd, blah, blah-boring!).

Sorry guys-just venting, hoping for a good weekend overnighter after the weekend of the 4th and the BBQ is done so I can finally get a free weekend to do some adventuring. Anybody want a ride report of the 13 sprinkler heads and the sprinkler valve that all needed replacing last weekend? Thats the extent of my recent adventures. 2 days gone, literally.

The weather seems to be turning so soon I am hoping for a day ride or even a half-day ride to scratch this itch I have for getting away.

Great ride indeed. I'm trying to sort through my 350 pics from the ride, so I can do a RR before I start school Monday.

Had the day off from work but was stuck on-call. Which means I cant go too awful far.

8th street up to BRR and heck maybe its thawed to bogus. It was until 3/4 mile from the connection. Good ride none the less.
In completely unrelated news I'm no longer a member of the "Never dropped her club" The "Deathwings" took care of that several times in the snow and mud all at low speed.
The new barkbusters have a rather nice mud and scratch patina now.

That and I picked a set of Wolfman enduro saddlebags and duffel from HT so I'm set DS touring now.

I rode the Boise Ridge Road south from Harris Creek summit Wed. and found the same thing-I was near the last summit on the dark side (north) when stopped by a looong drift

Who's up for a ride?

I've got my re-worked seat back from Dave Fisher. Feels pretty sweet in my garage bound test. I'm running out of excuses not to ride. I'd like to meet up with some folks and ride Sat or Sun. Anybody?
