I'll bet you enjoyed that rocky trail.

Did someone get an excessive speed out in the back country?

And way to go ODOT . I thought Oregon schools were better than that!

Nice pics. Thanks. Makes recup go by a little faster.

I've got a few more pics from the three forks overnighter with Trailrider383 and Casey

Here's trailrider

Casey the Noob on his cherry bustin weekend

I wonder what school is like in Rockville?

Trailrider gettin hasseled by THE MAN

Actually there was no real Hassle. Apparently some jackass, who the sherrif said was dressed like trailrider, hmm, had been out there a week or so earlier trespassing. Naturally, since we were the next awesome people he saw out there he felt the need to "explain" to us what was going on in the area. Why he needed all of our paperwork to explain that we shouldn't trespass, even though we were on a very public well traveled road, is beyond me.

The guys sure look nervous though, wonder why?

Had to kick these guys out of our campsite

Not a bad spot to camp

Casey thought that since we were at our destination, his bike might want a nap too. Isn't that sweet, he laid it right next to his bed

Who says you cant have a proper campfire at three forks

it may have been a little cool last night, the frost was a little thick when we finally crawled out

On the way home I think I got my user name upgraded to Mother Effensteve

One last view of the canyon

Does anybody out there have a V-Strom 1000? My dad is looking to sell his Goldwing to buy a dual sport. He may be interested in a DL1000 and I'd like to be able to get him some feed back on what I think of the 1000. Anybody? You get to ride the 800XC in trade..... He's in Wisconsin and not looking to buy your bike, I'm just looking for some seat time to do a few gravel roads.

Hi Tyson ..

I know Phil has a v-strom 650 nicely setup, rode it to Alaska and back and the ICT on it, so contact him.

Not sure it has to be the 1000, but I see Suzuki has reintroduced the 1000. They dropped it for a couple of years.

Now that the weather is breaking for the better and I've sorta recouped from 4 months of riding, I'm thinking let spring get here. Yea!

Thanks for the info. I may need to check out a 650 too, but my Dad is interested in something a bit bigger.
