My coworker bailed on me. Cracked gas tank on his GS. Going solo unless one of you wants to come. Leaving Saturday morning and heading North. Gonna get as many challenge points as possible between Mccall and Stanley area. If nobody wants to go, I'm heading out solo again. If that's the case, I'll spend Sunday night in the woods too and try to get the points around Challis as well.

I talked with the Challis NF and Boise Nf this morning and they say that Pinyon Peak Road is open to ATV and MC traffic, there is a washout about 4miles east (loon creek side) of Pinyon... also, the road to Trinity Peak LO opens on July 15th...

sooo... I'm going to do a ride next Monday and Tuesday, going from Boise to Langer Monument, Pinyon Peak LO, Loon Creek GS, Custer and Bonanza on Monday and then Sawtooth City, Ketchum, Rocky Bar and Trinity Peak LO and home on Tuesday...

They also said that Middle Fork Peak LO is accessible now... and that Sleeping Dear road has had vehicles down it, but they didn't say what type of vehicles...

if anyone is interested in coming on the Mon/Tues ride, let me know! I'll probably camp somewhere near Stanley on Monday night...

I'll be out on a ride until Saturday night, so I won't be here to check for replies until Sunday... but I will check!

I have been using the 60CSX Garmin + the RAM mount for a couple of years with the Idaho Topo installed-it has never let me down. I save my tracks on to Google Earth
