First campout of the year

Solo in Danskin, testing new gear. Some nice trails there I hadn't been on. Also some terrible ones I hadn't been on.

Awesome Jason, loved the music too. I bet your face was hurting when you got home from grinning so hard for so long

Jason, I watched the video and I didn't see any evidence of camping.

I bet you are enjoying having a proper dirt bike to rip around on.

I was out there a couple of weeks ago for the first time and we rode almost the same exact trails you did.

Largely, yes sir. Some gear failed the test (Kriega anchor point broke and couldn't cinch bags down) so I had to omit some curse words from the video but sure enjoyed those creekside trails.

Somehow it got dark before I setup camp best way to figure out a new tent. I'd like to get out another time or two to explore more Danskin single track before it gets too hot. I'll put out an invite if I'm first to get a plan together.

I've never been out to the danskins before. It's going on my to do list within the next few weeks.

thanks for the video. Though I will admit, I do kinda miss some of the artsy photography that usually accompany the Abbott reports.

Thanks

Heh. Not to worry. I took pictures too, just haven't put up the report to go along with them yet. Here are the pictures to go along with our son's first Danskin ride: http://trailimage.com/our-sons-first-trail-ride.

If you ride out there and want company, let me know. Just over the hill as the motorcycle flies from my place.

Kinda cool to see you on some of the trails I rode with some other fellas last year about this time, but we were going in the opposite direction. It's hard work isn't it?

Couple years ago with one of my son's we tried going up the trail at the Willow Creek Trailhead you came out on. We got so frustrated with all the water crossings we ended up turning around. After watching your video, maybe I should give it a try again.

Thanks for sharing

Well it must have just been a one date affair or a passing fancy

It was a Great ride almost perfect weather, did have a section around Red Dome that could be considered level 3 but all enjoyed the scenery, and not overly taxing on the Big bikes.

I do love the perceived smile

She had teeth like corn and long red hair on her legs but I could tell she wanted Ryan again

Actually Mark there was a look of desperation in her eye, and I thought I detected a sparkle in her eye as you passed by.

Yep. Here's the GPX. Forgot to reset the track for Hemingway so you get that as a bonus should you be interested in riding in circles.
