Is it really Spring Yet?

OK, as I am sitting here at home looking out at the steady flow of precipitation (we do need it) I started to just rummage through my pictures of our playground and well........ since I had time I just threw this together, eagerly anticipating the coming season.

Now just gotta get my hip issue corrected

Hopefully we'll see you all out there...

Great pics.

I hear there are some Trout to be had in Little Jacks. Heath and I have talked for years about riding out there with our fly poles for a weekend.

Having gone thru getting a full hip replacement, I know what hip pain is about. 24/7/365 not nice. Once the initial pain of surgery in finished you will feel like a new man. Good luck Sam and wish you the best. See you in Enterprise.

Thanks Woody! I will be at Enterprise for the H.C.A. Jamboree even if I have to drive the truck over...

Not really worth packing a rod, just bring some leader and flies and cut yourself a branch to use for a rod. The fish are small but it is fun trying to sneak up on them.

It apparently has the greatest density of redband trout around. So I read. I can only vouch for crawdads and caterpillars. Would be nice on a hot day to wade through the shade and scare up some fish. Easy to get to the water (just down a hill) at the wilderness trailhead.

Wonderful! Not sure about your music, though.

Best wishes on that front, Sam. If you need a hand keeping Moya's starburst exercised, just let me know.

Swan Falls Dam

Great news riders the no motorized sign on the west side of the dam and the fence will be down within 3 weeks. They are doing some work on the dam and it will be completed soon. The sign was put up by an over zealous environmentalist with Idaho Power, it will be removed very soon. So the damn closing will be over soon.

Thanks for passing along the great news. About gave me a heart attack the other night. Perhaps the "zealous environmentalist" thought it was protocol to close areas after a burn even if just a little grass burn.

P.S. Good puns both of you.

I think she was trying to save some kind of weed or three legged, blue eyed rattle snake.
